"Doctor, what does this mean?"
When you, as a medical professional, sit in the examining room with your patient, and you are trying to explain the results of tests to them, often times (if not always) your patient is not going to understand. Sometimes, you need to recommend further treatment, or a course of therapeutic medicine, or perhaps a regimen of rehabilitation therapy.
Wouldn't it be ideal to have available to you educational videos that would describe what you're recommending in detail, so your patient will understand what to expect, what the procedure is like, and, further what role they can play in enhancing their own health?
Whether your patient is facing (for example) kidney dialysis, surgery, organ transplantation, physical therapy, cosmetic surgery, perhaps has just been diagnosed with diabetes, and so forth, it is vital that the patient comprehends what is to be done, what they must do, and why it is necessary to their health and well-being.
